Junior Section
We have a thriving junior section here at W&S, with programmes split across age groups and offering girls their own section too, as well as mixed cricket; all with ECB DBS checked and qualified coaches. We have around 150 kids each season. Look through our sections below and click through to their pages for a better outline.
All Stars (5-8 yrs)
All Stars is a programme devised by the ECB to introduce very young girls and boys to the game, whilst encouraging new skills (with soft ball) and social development.

Dynamos (8-11yrs)
Dynamos provides the next stage to a young cricketer’s development, again devised by the ECB. Kids can both graduate into Dynamos from All Stars or are welcome to start their (soft ball) cricketing journey here too.

Junior (11-16yrs)
Junior level cricket marks the step up to hard ball cricket and is split into year group sections U11,U13 and U15. The teams train midweek and play home and away games against other local clubs and schools.
At Warborough we cut bespoke pitches for each year group and have our own outdoor nets for midweek training and membership use.

Warriors (Girls 8yrs+)
An integral part of our Junior structure are the Warborough Warriors - dedicated to providing a girls only space to have fun with friends, develop a love of sport and to progress their cricket.
Girls have the chance to play matches and train in mixed and/or girls only settings and are highly encouraged to try both. Training is on Tuesday evenings in the summer. More details here.
Safeguarding and Coaching
In order to provide and run the programmes detailed above to our thriving junior section, we must be fully affiliated to the OCB as a club and provide ECB qualified and DBS cleared volunteer coaches as well as safeguarding officers.
