Warborough Warriors
Warborough Warriors is the dedicated girls and women’s section at W&SCC. Warriors Women is currently a soft-ball focussed team, which started in 2023. With the interest in girls and women’s cricket increasing yearly, we hope to extend to having both softball and hardball teams in the near future.
We are actively on the look out for new players, with all abilities welcome.
We are lucky enough to play and train in a beautiful place, with fantastic modern facilities, so if you fancy learning to play cricket and making new friends, you could do a lot worse than doing it here.
What, Where, Joining
Warriors Women train on Tuesday evenings on Warborough Green from 19:00 – 20:30, after the girls.
Our sessions, led by ECB qualified coaches, are inclusive and engaging with an emphasis of being outdoors in a beautiful setting with friendly people learning to play cricket. We also have winter indoor sessions pre season.
At the moment the Warriors Women play in softball pairs festivals across Oxfordshire and friendlies.
For newcomers please come along and give it a try first and then consider joining. Match shirts and other cricket kit are provided so you just need comfortable, sporty clothing.
