Like All Stars before it, Dynamos is a programme devised by the ECB. Dynamos looks to progress girls and boys aged between 8-11years, still using a soft ball, developing the skills required to play cricket, while keeping an emphasis on fun. Under 9’s onwards also enjoy friendly short matches against other clubs. Girls from 8 can also enjoy our Warriors cricket for girls only, either in conjunction with Dynamos, or otherwise.
The kids are coached by qualified volunteer coaches who are all DBS checked and cleared by the ECB.
Meet the Head Coach
Our lead coach for Dynamos Cricket is Paul Baker. Paul has many years cricket coaching under his belt and holds a level 2 Core Coach qualification. He has been at the club since 2016.
Paul is also our current Junior Chair, heading up the whole of our junior section, and manages the U13s age group. Like all our coaches he is ECB DBS cleared.

When, Where & Joining
Our Dynamos gather by the pavilion on The Green in Warborough, on Friday evenings from early May. The kids normally run through a variety of skill development sessions and finish off with a quick game. The U9’s upwards will get to play a number of quick games from June onwards, usually on a Sunday morning.
Register your interest at the ECB site on the button below, the ECB will come back to you via email and it’s then you choose the Dynamos programme at W&SCC.
Membership is £50 for the 8 week season
